How Boat Charter Works
The process is simple:
- You (Charterer) – decide when and where you want to sail.
- Travel Boat (Charter Agency) – finds the best offers, checks availability, and supports you throughout.
- Charter Company – the boat owner, with whom you sign the final rental agreement.
During booking you’ll receive the charter company’s terms (in English). On request, we can send them before you confirm your reservation.
Easy to Book in 3 Steps
- Send us your request – tell us your week, destination, boat type, and crew size.
- Get tailored offers – we’ll hold your chosen boat for 3–4 days with no obligation.
- Confirm with payment – 50% deposit when booking, balance due 4–8 weeks before departure.
We’ll stay in touch with the charter company, handle all formalities, and provide recommended routes if you’d like.

Boat Handover and Return Procedure
Before setting off on your trip, a thorough inspection of the boat is carried out. A representative of the rental company, together with you, checks the hull, rigging, equipment, and, if necessary, the sails. The main purpose of this handover is to familiarize you with the equipment and to show you how the water, electricity, gas switches, and other systems work.
If you notice any defects or shortcomings (e.g., equipment malfunctions, scratches on the hull, damaged hatches, valves, etc.), immediately point them out and request that these remarks be included in the contract. The aim is to ensure that you receive a well-maintained and fully functional boat.
When returning the boat, the same inspection is carried out. Often, a diver will additionally examine the hull. The boat must be returned in the same condition as it was received, taking normal wear and tear into account. If any damage is found, it is assessed whether it occurred due to normal use or as a result of the client’s actions. It is then determined whether the client is liable for the losses.
It is important to know that the client is also responsible for any damage caused by storms, strong winds, or other natural events, as the boat must always be operated responsibly and used in a way that prevents damage.
If you notice any damage to the boat or its equipment during your trip, always contact the rental company first and inform them of the situation. Perform repairs only if necessary to avoid danger to human safety.
